Sudalaimani Lorry Booking Office ("SLBO", "we", "us", or "our") operates the Sudalaimani LBO mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our App.
1. Information We Collect
- Account information: name, email address, and profile photo when you sign in with Google or register with a phone number.
- Phone number: used for account authentication and OTP verification.
- Location data: approximate location used to show nearby lorry availability and track active loads. Location is not stored permanently.
- Device information: device type and FCM token for push notifications.
- Usage data: load bookings, applications, and in-app actions you perform.
- Photos / files: images you upload for your profile or load details, stored securely on Cloudflare R2.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To create and manage your account.
- To connect lorry owners (admins) with drivers for load bookings.
- To send OTP verification messages and push notifications related to your bookings.
- To display load tracking and status updates.
- To improve app performance and fix bugs.
3. Google Sign-In
When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from Google. We do not receive your Google password. Your Google account data is used solely to identify and authenticate you within the App.
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell or rent your personal data. We share data only with:
- Firebase (Google): for authentication and push notifications.
- Cloudflare R2: for secure file storage.
- MongoDB Atlas: for database hosting.
All third-party services are bound by their own privacy policies and applicable data protection laws.
5. Data Retention
We retain your account and booking data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us.
6. Security
We use HTTPS encryption for all data in transit, hashed passwords, and JWT-based authentication. Access to production data is strictly limited to authorised personnel.
7. Children's Privacy
The App is intended for users aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us immediately.
8. Your Rights
- Access or correct your personal information through the App's profile settings.
- Request deletion of your account and data by contacting us.
- Withdraw consent for push notifications via your device settings.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
